Staff
Geoff Smith is the Business Manager and is responsible for the overall management of the practice.
Wendy Birtchnell is the Patient Services Manager and is responsible for the day to day running of the Surgery. Please speak with Wendy if you have enquiries about administrative or non-medical aspects of your treatment or if you have need to make a complaint.
Sarah Waller is the Reception Supervisor and is responsible for the day to day running of Reception. Sarah will be pleased to help with any Reception queries you may have.
Medical Secretaries
We have 2 medical secretaries who provide support for the doctors, nurses and Business Manager. Secretaries prepare letters for patients as well as hospital referrals and letters to other healthcare providers. They are also responsible for arranging patient transport from the surgery's aspect.
Administrative Staff
Our four administrators perform a wide variety of essential tasks to help ensure the smooth running of the surgery. They handle incoming correspondence from consultants etc., arrange medicals and are also the point of contact for Insurance companies requesting medical reports for our patients (provided patient consent has been given).
Reception Staff
Our receptionists are the principle point of contact for patients and facilitate access to all services provided by the Practice. They provide a focal point of communication between patients, doctors, the nursing team and other members of the Practice. If you have any questions about registrations, appointments, etc, our Reception Team will be pleased to help you.
