Access
Our Accessibility Policy
The Practice will comply with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
We will ensure no patient or other user of our services is treated less favourably for a reason related to their disability.
We will make reasonable adjustments to our processes for service provision and to the physical features of the premises where these are required to meet the access needs of our patients and service users.
Our recruitment processes will not discriminate against applicants with disabilities. We will make reasonable adjustments to our employment arrangements and to the physical features of the workplace to ensure that successful applicants can be recruited and that disabled employees are not disadvantaged in any way.
Patients with Special Access Needs
Access to the surgery for disabled patients is at the rear of the building.
A downstairs room can be made available for any patient who is unable to climb the stairs to the majority of our consultation rooms. However, please ensure you make your request for a downstairs room at the time of booking your appointment so that we can ensure its availability for you.
