Emergencies

You should still call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath, and strokes, constitute an emergency.

Urgent Care Centre

Urgent Care Centres treat most injuries or illnesses that are urgent but not life threatening, for example, sprains and strains, broken bones, minor burns and scalds, minor head and eye injuries, bites and stings. You do not need to book an appointment - just turn up and you will be seen promptly by either a doctor or nurse.

Your nearest Urgent Care Centre to the surgery is located at:

Hemel Hempstead Hospital, Hillfield Road, Hemel Hempstead HP2 4AD

From December 2016 this service is open 08:00 to 22:00. Outside these times, call 111.
