New Telephone System


On Thursday 25th January 2018, Milton House Surgery is changing to a new telephone system and provider. This will feature call queuing and will eliminate the engaged tone that callers can experience during busy periods, improving telephone access to the surgery.


Changing telephone providers can be a tricky process and we ask that patients check the practice website for announcements should they experience problems getting in touch with the surgery around 25th January 2018. We will have mobile telephone backup available during the handover period.

Non NHS Fees/Examinations

We provide various services for which no reimbursement is available from the NHS. Should you need to make use of these services e.g. providing private certificates, medical examinations etc. a fee will be payable and will be requested in advance of the service being provided.

Please note:

- We may not be able to provide you with specialist certifications or medical examinations and a doctor will review requests before we accept the work.

- If a service takes considerably longer than expected, additional charges will be payable based on the additional time taken.

Payment can be made by debit/credit card or by cash.
